Hi, I’m Thien Nguyen (Miranda) — a fashion and graphic designer, marketer and watercolor artist. After moving to the United States, I built my career leading branding, marketing and merchandise for a Houston real-estate portfolio, then followed a childhood dream of making things by hand. That dream became DHorse Studio, where every tumbler, mug and tote begins as a drawing.

The story behind the name
Why DHorse?
“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
In Asian culture, a pair of horses running side by side is a symbol of partnership, loyalty and success shared — two strong hearts pulling in the same direction. DHorse means Double Horse.
When I named the studio, I didn’t picture one horse racing to the finish line. I pictured two, running together: me, and everyone who creates alongside me — the customers who gift my art to the people they love, the small businesses who trust me with their brand, and the friends who come paint at my workshops.
DHorse is my promise that you’re never just a customer here. You’re my partner for the long run — and every order, every kind review, every shared video is one more stride we take together.
Who I am
Half dreamer, half builder.
I live a little in my imagination. I love finding the harmony between color, feeling and story — dreaming up little characters and the worlds they live in until I can truly feel them. Only then do I pick up the brush. That’s why every piece I make carries a story you can feel, too.
I’m also endlessly curious. I love learning new things — a new tool, a new platform, a new way to reach people — and turning them into real results. From AI and automation to video and print, I use every new skill to grow brands that look beautiful and work hard.

My watercolor drawings become tumblers, mugs and gifts — marketed, photographed and sold by me, with a 5.0 rating on Etsy.
Digital marketing & storytelling
